Carlyle
offers three unique options for your special gatherings. Located
just off the main dining area is the "Tasting Room"; an intimate
extension of our regular seating, this space may be reserved for
groups up to 20.
The "Barnwood
Table", located within our inviting, light-filled kitchen, has
become a hallmark of sorts. 12 or more guests may reserve this rustic,
hand-hewn table for a truly unique evening offering a prix fix,
culinary tour de force. With the chef as your host and guide, guests
can enjoy a customized multi-course menu and offerings from our
extensive wine collection, all within a bird's eye view of the action.
Just outside
the kitchen, lies one of Portland's best kept secrets. Carlyle's
Garden is a tiny, romantic hideaway featuring an Asian-inspired
landscape, bamboo gates and a delightful Koi pond. The garden can
accommodate four guests using our pre-exisiting teak table, and
up to eight with the rental of a larger table and chairs for a magical,
al fresco evening. Perfect for popping the question, or celebrating
a special anniversary, the exclusive use of the garden is available
by special reservation with a fee of $150 during the summer season
only.
